The Best for Barb

For my sister, Barbara Burgess, when it rains, it pours. For her, it has been one event after another, starting with the unexpected death of her husband, John. Then she lost her apartment that the family called home for many years, due to remodeling. Then the Thrifty Shopper, where she was manager for many years, closed. Barb hasn't had luck in finding a new job.
Barb hasn't felt well for a long time.  Recently it was discovered that she is very sick with thyroid and liver disease. She is currently in the hospital, where she spent time in intensive care. She i s working with a physical therapist to regain her strength in order to return home.
The future is currently uncertain, but one thing is sure. Barb needs our help!
I am trying to raise money for current and future medical bills. Also for day-to-day living expenses such as rent, utilities, and food. Barb is ineligible for any types of assistance due to the fact that she has a retirement plan.
