Assistance requested and greatly appreciated – In Jesus Name WE Pray, Amen – I thank you in advance for reading this through to gain understanding to my family’s road ahead.
During the early hours on Monday, August 20th, 2018 our nineteen year old son Anthony was in a severe car accident and suffered extensive injuries on his way to work but by the GRACE of GOD, survived…the first responders on the scene didn’t think our son would make it…doctors who immediately tended to Anthony’s wounds said it’s a miracle, us as his parents, family and friends….agree.
The worst of it was/is per the doctors, the risk of Anthony losing his leg - the front cab of the vehicle completely crushed his leg and pinned it within – his bone tore through is upper leg and shattered in multiple spots – currently, Anthony has undergone two surgeries to save his leg with blood transfusions along the way to keep his body going, with still many more surgeries to go…he’s leg is now missing six inches of bone to put it into perspective…time will tell – prayers and well wishes at this time please!
On the job: after driving the distance of 320 miles and nearly 6hrs from Larchmont, NY to Mt. Morris NY, Anthony was transferred to the nearest local hospital; Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY…the vehicle he was driving lost control and hit a residential telephone phone head-on! As parents receiving that call was beyond anything we can put into words – Anthony was more than four hours away from our home when the accident occurred.
The doctors “assigned to Anthonys recovery” feel confident that they are the only ones who would and can help him walk and lead a normal life with proper care and daily physical therapy – locally, nearest to the hospital in Rochester – with that being said, my husband as the soul financial provider and myself the custodial parent for our seven year old youngest son at home…my husband will miss a great deal of work to assure our son is with one of us at all times – and we can’t help but additionally worry about the strain on our finances ahead – above all at this time, our son Anthony’s recovery is our utmost priority – please share this post – Sincerely, a family praying for our boy and hoping not to lose everything.
