On the evening of Saturday 10th August 2019 the Bayliss family were out enjoying dinner with good friends, when they received a phone call that their home on the Great Western Highway in Woodford was on fire. Extreme wind meant the house was completely engulfed within minutes, before brigades even arrived on the scene. There are still investigations being done by Police and NSW Fire to determine the cause of the fire. Their home, caravan and car were damaged. They lost everything other than the clothes ON their back. During recent rough times the Bayliss family have still put everyone else before themselves and have been there to support our community for their whole lives. Darren and Belinda being members of the Faulconbridge Rural Fire Brigade, Darren for more than 30 years and Belinda being President of the brigade. Belinda also being a long time Salvation Army member for her whole life. This family Darren, Belinda, Tarleigha (17) and Lathan (11) now need the community to give back just a small portion of what they have contributed in the past. Please reach deep to donate so they can rebuild and get back on their feet, they are well deserving of your support.
