The Barney Family

For those of you that don't know, our good friend Jon Barney, the husband of my best friend and soul sister, was involved in a terrible rollover accident this weekend.  He was traveling up Big Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake City, when his car lost control and flew 180 feet off of a cliff, rolling numerous times, before coming to a stop.  Jon somehow managed to drag himself closer to the road but would lay there in the freezing cold, with severe injuries, and close to death until he was finally rescued six hours later!  Life-flight was called but the decision was made that he would travel by ambulance to the closest hospital where the magnitude of his injuries was assessed.  It is nothing short of a miracle that he is alive!  His will to live is truly astounding.  Jon is a husband and father of two young girls, and his beautiful family rely on his income in order to survive.  Additionally, the hospital that he is being treated at is outside of their insurance network.  While the gratitude that he is still with us is profound, he has a very long road to recovery.  It is unclear how much care he will need and for how long.  Currently, Britney (his wife) is planning on caring for him and slowly nursing him back to health, taking care of their two young daughters, while being the only source of income for their family.  Any help that is provided will go directly to their living and medical expenses as they tread through this difficult and urgent situation.  Please help this amazing family out!  Anything at all is appreciated and even the smallest amounts add up and can help with bills and groceries.
