The Arthur Kelm Memorial Fund

Hello my name is Dean and I created this fundraiser to help those who knew Arthur Kelm to grieve and at the same time help the family (myself included) pay the enormous medical bills that were created trying to save Arthurs life. Arthur was in and out of three hospitals' ER and ICU since right after Thanksgiving 2021. Basically three months solid of intense hospital stay. Arthur was a tank and survived Stage IV Lymphoma cancer, Heart failure, Kidney failure, Pneumonia, and in the end a large stroke. He was making great progress in rehab, but the care was intense and expensive. Even with good insurance, the co-pays that remain are daunting to the surviving family and widow. We may be forced to leave our home, which Arthur loved and cared for so much since 1986. I know that Arthur is raging and would hate to see medical and insurance companies take it from his elderly wife at her greatest time of need. We have not even had a chance to recover from Hurricane IDA's rath. Basically, Art and I had only one month to replace our roof and internal/external damage to the home while living in it. The bills just keep on climbing and the stress has been constant since before IDA hit on August 29th. Not something Art wanted to see for his 81-year-old widow.

We are asking those who knew Arthur to donate instead of sending flowers, cards, etc... as every bit counts towards giving Artis his loving wife of 32 years, a solid foundation going forward! I know as his business partner of over 17 years, his live-in caregiver, and his step-son, that he would be highly appreciative of all your efforts on his behalf!
