<div>At a time when our communities need healing the most, Extra Ancestral and Bloco Obini stand together as civilization's anchor, providing culture as medicine. We are uniting this Giving Tuesday to launch The Anchor Project and raise \$35,000 to sustain the vital work of our two revolutionary ensembles.

<div>✊ Our Commitment to Equitable Compensation
</div>
<div>This campaign is driven by a deep commitment to equity. The \$35,000 goal is essential because it allows us to commit to equitable compensation for our artists.
</div>
<div>When budgets are lacking, especially for performances and weekly classes we provide to communities most in need, your donation helps us ensure that our Master Teachers and performers are paid fair, equitable stipends for their invaluable cultural and healing work.
</div>
<div>Who You Are Funding: Our Revolutionary Ensembles
</div>
<div>1. Extra Ancestral (Founded 2017 by Kahlil Cummings)
</div>
<div>Extra Ancestral is a cultural movement dedicated to educating and entertaining through the fusion of different cultural manifestations of the African Diaspora.
</div>
<div>• Ancestral Healing: We use powerful ancestral dancing and drumming of Diaspora genres to find connection and provide lessons from the past, aiming to reduce trans generational trauma and teach tools for Black survival.
</div>
<div>• Living Lineage: Funds support revolutionary performances and weekly classes led by Cultural Master Teachers, preserving the direct transmission of culture.
</div>
<div>2. Bloco Obini (All-Queens Drum Ensemble)
</div>
<div>Bloco Obini is an all-Queens ensemble representing the empowerment of women and an entire generation.
</div>
<div>• Community Empowerment: We use Afro-Brazilian bloco style drumming to heal, educate, uplift, and serve.
</div>
<div>• Drum Medicine for Community: We provide vital drum medicine workshops.
</div>
<div>Where Your \$35,000 Goes (The Breakdown)
</div>
<div>The funds raised will directly cover the crucial operational costs that keep our artists working and our cultural programs accessible:
</div>
<div>• Artist Stipends: Ensuring equitable rates and covering logistical needs for our Master Teachers and performers.
</div>
<div>• Rehearsal Space: Securing clean, professional space for both ensembles.
</div>
<div>• Program &amp; Administrative Fees: Supporting the staff needed to run workshops and performances in our communities.
</div>
<div>• Instruments &amp; Costumes: Investing in instrument repair, new instruments, and cultural costume materials.
</div>
<div>Anchor the Future by Choosing Your Tier:
</div>
<div>Every contribution helps us reach our goal and continue our mission of healing through culture.
