The Alonso Solis Recovery Fund

My wife and I just read this story about Mr. Alonso Solis who was callously and randomly shot in the face with a shotgun while riding his bike to get dinner. According to police "there were probably people who witnessed this shooting, and no one came forward initially." However, a security guard was able to render CPR and saved his life.

Let's step up where others did not and help Mr. Solis.

According to Solis he is in a lot of pain and is limited in physical activity. The doctors said that he cannot lift more than 2 pounds,  and as a carpet layer he cannot work to support himself or his wife and four children. He will be out of work for at least two months and is slated to undergo another surgery.  We can only imagine how hard this ordeal has been for him physically and mentally. 

This is truly an opportunity to "be the change" and to practically live out loving your neighbor!
