The Aceinos' Help Fund

Hello friends,

Some of you know us personally, some of you know us through our work with our photography company younglovemedia, and some of you know us through our instagram profiles. However you know us, we are grateful for your interest in our lives. Thankful for suspended judgements and a earnest desire to see us for who we are and what we are and desireious to help our family thrive.

We have been through so much in the 7 short years we have been a family that it feels inadequate to even try to verbalize. So I will cut to the  reason for this fundraiser:

We need help. Plain and simple.

This past year we have seen major growth, both personally and professionally. We have been so proud of our growing family, and we have been working harder than ever. However, over the past few months, some hardships have befallen us that have taken away important streams of income and simultaneously drained us of all our savings. We are destitue in no uncertain terms. We probably should have asked for help sooner but asking for help is vulnerable, often embarassing, and we felt if we just tried harder, looked in more places for a way through, and just simply held on for dear life that things would begin to turn. We don't want to be a burden on anyone and have let that shame and imagined guilt run us into the ground.

We realize now that our pubilc image is in the eye of the beholder. It is neither sane nor rational to continue chasing that perfect image of yourself in everyone's mind. We crave authenticity, where pretense goes to die, where vulnerability and transparency can flourish and human beings can soulfully and openly empathize with one another, offering assistance and meeting one another's needs.

This perspective rubs alot of people wrong, and we are well aware of that. We know the "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" mentality all too well and have succumbed to its defining glare and demeaning tone. But we are also well aware of true hardship in the face of working 4 jobs 7 days a week. We are no stranger to loosing both cars in one week and having so little in the bank that you're not able to even buy food for your children.

So right now, in all humilty and with open hearts we are asking for help. Help to stand up on our feet. Help to get out of our unstable and unhealthy living conditions. Help to provide basic needs to our children and help to take a big step forward towards self sustainability. Right now we cannot pay rent or buy food as we have drained our savings to bridge the gap. The gap has proven to been too deep and too wide to ride out.

We cannot offer anything but gratitude for your contribution. But we promise, as always, that we will continue to pour our hearts and our souls into our family, into our public platform that has blessed us so much and encouraged us to continue to press on even when we wanted to throw it all away, into our buisiness that we may continue to expand our reach and celebrate that magic in the mundane of life that has become our life's calling, that we will continue to pursue every lead and every avenue to increase our visibility, our accessibility,  and provide for our family. When it's good it's been really good, but when it's bad, well, thank heavens for platforms like GoFundMe and the good nature inside so many people around the world.

If you're still reading, Thank You from the bottom of our hearts in advance for your generosity and for contributing to our family in this time of need.

God Bless you all.

Jimmy, Dani, Elliot, Asher and August Aceino.
