The Abhay Project

Donation protected
My name is Puja and I live in North San Diego County in the US.  My dearest brother Abhay was the light of my life and I loved him more than myself.  Abhay was a son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend. He was a kind, pure, and loving soul who left us far too soon at the tender age of 22. He valued loyalty above all else and prided himself on lifting others up. Abhay wanted to prevent bullying in middle schools and high schools because he experienced bullying himself that had a lasting impact. Abhay's name means "fearless" and Abhay loved his family and friends fearlessly.

We have started a project in Abhay's name called The Abhay Project. Your donations will go towards researching and establishing this project to promote anti-bullying campaigns so that every child can live and attend school fearlessly. We are planning to set up a specific project in one of the middle schools in our area which will include musical and interactive exercises led by a trained facilitator.  The program will build empathy and inspire a school-wide movement of compassion.  Our goal is $25,000. We will double the final donation amount to help spread our word even more.

And to the light of our lives, Abhay:

Wherever you are are, we will always love you and we will always try to make you proud. We miss you and think of you in every breath. You were, are, and will forever be everything good in us.
