The “49er” bike ride

Donation protected
On Saturday 6th October  we are are planning a bike ride in loving memory of Jonathan, my husband who died very suddenly in July. He was a keen cyclist all his life and really enjoyed riding with his friends and especially with Josh, our son. We’re calling the bike ride “The 49er” (Jon’s age).

We are aiming to raise enough money to build a classroom for orphaned children in year 6 (aged 10-11) in Kisumu, Kenya. The class is part of a school for 170 orphaned children in a rural area near the city and is run by Chris and Ruth who also lead three churches in the area.
They are linked to our own church. They need a total of  £4100 to build the classroom.

If if we could raise this money this would be an amazing achievement and Jon would have been so pleased to do this. We went to Kenya on holiday and sponsor a child there and it had a special place in his heart.

Please donate generously to this cause which would provide a lasting legacy in Jonathan’s memory

Thank you xx

(The main ride is 49 miles, but with shorter options so anyone can get involved. Starting and finishing in Market Bosworth. Let me know if you would like to join in the ride - food and drink provided by the support crew!)
