<div>Hi my name is Kate, a midwife who first travelled with The 2h Project back in 2011 as part of their ‘Safe Arrivals’ team.
</div>
<div>4 kids of my own later I can truly appreciate the importance of receiving excellent maternity care. 
</div>
<div>Not all are so lucky. A woman in Cambodia is 34 times more likely to die in childbirth than a woman in Australia! Many of these complications are preventable or treatable. With the 2h we have a chance to do something about that.
</div>
<div>This October I am travelling back to Cambodia with The 2h Project.
</div>
<div>The 2h Project is a non profit health promotion charity, whose purpose is to make maternal care excellent for every woman, no matter where she lives.
</div>

<div>I will be volunteering with a small group of midwives and health professionals to provide education and training to midwives in the Cambodian provinces of Ratanakiri and Pailin. This face-to-face training will focus on the midwifery management of obstetric emergencies.
</div>

<div>All money raised goes directly to The 2h Project (all personal travel, accomodation and food is covered by myself).
</div>
