As many of you know, I lost my sister at the age of 47 to a short but aggressive battle with lung cancer on Friday, September 27.
Many people have reached out to our family and have asked how they can help during this time. I am starting this Go Fund Me page in honor of my sister in hopes of giving her the Celebration of Life she so greatly deserves.
You see, my sister was a paraplegic. She was never given the opportunity to purchase any form of life insurance, as she was always denied due to her pre-existing condition. My sister suffered from aneurysms since the age of 12. She has had many bleeds due to her aneurysms over her lifetime, numerous hospitalizations, procedures, surgeries, and finally radiation in hopes to shrink the aneurysms. Over the past ten years, she has been confined to a motorized scooter with her main caretakers being her husband, Jesse and my niece, Olivia.
This is where I am asking for your assistance. Due to her lack of life insurance coverage, we would still love to give my sister the Celebration, but as we all know, that comes at a cost.
