Every year, we, the agents and staff of Keller Williams Metro Center, Old Town Alexandria, host a Thanksgiving Fundraiser to provide complete meals to families in need in Alexandria. This includes a turkey, pumpkin pie, rolls, canned green beans, corn, yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes and more. This is our sixth year and we are delivering 75 meals on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
We are very fortunate to live, work and play in the Northern Virginia area and embrace this opportunity to give back to the communities that we serve.
Many of the families that we deliver these meals to give our volunteers hugs and tell them that without this assistance, they would not be able to feed their family a Thanksgiving meal.
In order to deliver 75 meals, we need to raise $5,000 for the cost of the food. Please help us give where we live and celebrate this traditional American holiday of gratitude and thankfulness. Consider donating.
We are reaching out to the community, our friends, family, neighbors and clients to get involved. Every donation no matter the size, helps us reach our goal.
