During the Covid 19 Pandemic crisis, all of our staff - teaching, administration and support – stepped up to the plate and showed incredible dedication, professionalism, flexibility and excellence in running a remote school program under difficult conditions.
After supervising remote learning during Term 2, many parents have a new found appreciation of the work involved in educating our children, and have told us they would like a way to show their appreciation.
This fundraiser will raise money for improvements to the College staff room to enable us as a community to give the staff something really tangible and long lasting as a thank you.
The College staff room is in dire need of an overhaul to make it a more pleasant retreat for staff from their teaching and working time. (And we won’t forget the primary staff room either).
Our target is $1,500 which will allow us to paint, get some shelving, replace microwaves, toasters and other electrics, get new cutlery, crockery and glassware and – best of all – a proper coffee machine!!
We would also love to hear from any tradies who could provide some time (especially a carpenter and a sparky) as their donation, or people who could donate goods.
We hope to get the staff room revamp done in early Term 3.
