Thank You for Being a Friend- Betty White's Bday

Betty White was an absolute icon.

 

She was not just an actress, producer, or celebrity- she always stood up for what was right and was so unapologetically herself.

 

Betty White loved animals of all kind and donated much of her money and time to zoos, rescues, and wildlife organizations. She was dedicated in her work, won several humanitarian awards and was involved in countless charities.

 

Honor the late great animal advocate Betty White on her 100th birthday by donating to the Humane Society of Wicomico County.

 

HSWC is a small non-profit on Maryland's eastern shore. We were voted Wicomico County's Best Local Charity by Coastal Style Magazine. We are dedicated to saving the lives of at-risk animals, and matching pets with their forever families while providing premier temporary care and shelter for the animals in our community. As an open-admission shelter, any lost, found, stray, injured, neglected, abandoned, or surrendered animal from our county in need of refuge will not be turned away.

 

By making a donation in honor of Betty White, you are allowing us to continue our life saving work by providing low-cost spay/neuter and emergency surgeries to our community, ensuring all animals receive the medical care they need, and are contributing to our plan to expand our facility.

Betty's birthday is Monday, January 17th.
