It's hard to believe, but David has been "That Guitar Man from Central Park", a part of our lives for 34 years.
For various reasons, beginning with a global pandemic that stole 2 summers from us, the past few years have been rough going for David. When we learned that last summer was the leanest and most financially challenging of his long career, we wanted to do something to both help and say... thank you. Thanks for the music, the stories, the feelings, the moments. Thanks for being such a wonderful part of this city. Thanks for all the memories.
Selfishly, we also want to see him in Central Park again this year. (And we need artists like David in the fight against MAGA and Trumpism.)
So please, join us in helping him continue his work as a playwright and songwriter, and as a very real part of the city we all love.
