Anthony Morgan's Medical Fund

On April 20th 2015, Anthony set out on the Muncie cardinal greenway for a walk just like he does any other day. During his walk he started to feel something not right. His body started going numb and he began seizing. Throughout this time, he was alone. After much determination, he managed to make it back home to his daughter, who then called for help. He was rushed to the emergency room and early Tuesday morning, it was determined that he had a brain tumor. It was affecting his mobility on the left side of his body. Right away Anthony was scheduled for surgery for Thursday. The days leading up to the surgery was extremely tough for the entire family, as the Morgan family is very LARGE! Early Thursday morning family members came pouring in before the surgery to wish him the best, say their good lucks and pray. For the next 8 hours through his surgery and recovery, over 30 family members and friends came together and waited for an answer. He made it through, everything went great! But tears of joy turned to tears of hurt when we were told Anthony has Primary Giloblastoma Multiforme, which is the most aggressive form of brain cancer. They said things would be confirmed in a week from the biopsy. So here I sit, a week later, brain cancer confirmed. He's facing 6 months of radiation and chemotherapy. This is where we need your help. Anthony is going to be off work, his wife will be off and on with her job. They will have limited income and they need all the help they can get with medical bills, home bills and their other needs.

So now that you know the cause, let me tell you a little about Anthony! He's very athletic and this July is his 50th birthday! He loves running and riding his bike on the greenway. He has ran the Indianapolis mini marathon for 10 years in a row. He ran a full marathon is Virginia beach, he is a United States Marine Corps Vet and most importantly, a wonderful husband, father of 4 girls and 1 son, and grandfather of 4. Family is important to us so we are reaching out to our community for help. Anything would be appreciated! Thank you all for your help!
