Thailand Volunteer Project

Hello friends, family, and all who can help,

I have been given the fantastic opportunity, along with a group of class mates, to carry out voluntery work in Thailand. We are a group of 16 students from Norway, all travelling together. Our time in Thailand will be spent  teaching thai children to speak English, as well as helping at an orphanage. 

To be able to carry out this important work, we will need assistance to cover our costs for travel and transport. Our time we give for free, during the summer holiday 2018.

We are also arranging several fund raising projects, such as selling cookies and bake sales at the moment. And our group is planning car washes, small jobs for neighbours and the local community. Some of us are working as homework help. As well as working part time jobs after school, therefore any donations will be an addition to our other fund raising projects. 
Some of our larger projects are that we're planning a Thai dinner, where we will serve Thai themed food and a part of the cost to enter will go to our trip. The other is an auction, where we will be selling Thailand photos. We will also be working together with the local Thai community in Stavanger as closely as we can. 

Thank you for your donation, every penny will be put to helping these children and help furhter their education. This project will serve to spread positivity and service, and we all look forward to helping the children :)
