Most of us have probably read quite a few online fundraising requests. Organizations, entrepreneurs, non-profits, and individuals have used this method. And we all know it is something that can make a great – even life-changing – impact.
However – have you ever seen a personal request from someone you actually know? How would you feel about that?

Rosemary Cathcart, a person who has ministered, guided, counseled, mentored and helped to heal so many of us, is now facing several major surgeries. And Rosemary needs your help.
Beginning in the middle of December, Rosemary must begin the lengthy process of several major, multi-visit dental surgeries. As you know, Rosemary is self-employed and much of her professional practice involves talking. These surgeries will take months and the recovery from these surgeries will take many more months. Her income from her work will be curtailed, and her expenses will not only continue but be greatly increased by medical costs.
In addition, Rosemary must have long overdue and necessary foot surgeries to correct a congenital defect in both feet. Recovery is estimated to be eight to 12 months for each foot. She will need physical and financial help for quite a while (and we will be setting up a schedule for those who wish to personally help).
Rosemary often has been known to say “We teach that which we need to learn.” If you are Rosemary’s friend or client, no doubt she has talked with you about how sometimes circumstances require us to ask for help and accept help.
