Liver Cancer

Hi, my name is Azita, and I created this fundraiser to save my dog Maxine's Life.

A few weeks ago, Maxine was acting very strange and had a cough attack that prevented her from breathing well. We rushed her to the vet where they were able to stabilize her, and discovered our worst fear, CANCER! The doctor told us there is a tumor on the side of her liver, and she would need to see a specialist because there was a chance that we would not be able to remove the tumor.

The oncologist ran many tests, performed a sonogram and determined that Maxine is healthy enough to have the tumor removed. We need a CT scan first which insurance does not cover, and then the surgery would follow. The CT scan alone will cost $3,000 and the surgery will cost roughly $7,000.

As many of you know, 2 years ago we lost our dog Chase. Maxine was there to help us get through that loss. She has been our companion in many happy and sad times, and if there is one ounce of hope to save her life, we will.

As all of you know, times are hard for everyone right now, and I never ask for a helping hand but, Maxine is my family and I humbly ask you all to please help me save my dog.
