On 7/8/18 Bob the horse was admitted back to Comstock Equine Hospital. After an initial injury on mother’s day 5/13/18. Bob experienced an reaction to his antibiotics causing Purpura. Which cause severe swelling in all four limbs. The swelling got so bad Bob’s legs literally had to shed of the dying skin, causing infection and lameness.
After his first stent at the equine hospital costing approximately $7,000 just to be home a few short weeks Bob returned to Comstock on 7/8/18 where he is still is.
As any loving pet owner you do anything for your furry family members. But I can’t imagine the cost of over two months at the Equine Hospital.
Bob’s owner Abbie Shelton is a dear friend and fierce equine lover. Abbie is the most selfless and kind person you would meet. She goes out if her way to help others. Not only as her job as a nurse but as a wonderful human being. Abbie would and has done the same for her fellow man. Let’s get Bob Home to his Momma!
