Living Water

Please join me in funding portable well drilling equipment for my missionary friends, Patrick and Lena Wensel, to provide clean, safe water for villages in Tanzania.

When you and I are thirsty, we walk 3 feet to the nearest faucet or grab a bottle of water out of the fridge; but that is not the case for thousands of people living in Africa. Each morning in Tanzania, women and young girls walk for miles just to collect water for their family. The walk can be dangerous because some wells are controlled by violent thugs who assault these women and children. Often the water is dirty and leads to disease. In some locations, the nearest water source is in crocodile infested water where hundreds of women tragically lose their lives every year, just trying to obtain water for their family.

The Wensel Family is serving as missionaries through Christian Veterinary Mission in Tanzania and have asked for our help in raising $10,000 to purchase a portable well drilling machine that can travel through these mountainous regions drilling clean, safe wells to provide life giving water to the families living there.
