Unexpected hospital stay

My dear friend Lorie Farris is a single mother of two children and one of the hardest working people I know. She currently works two jobs and cares for her youngest daughter who just started college. On Wednesday July 11th, Lorie went to the emergency room for severe abdominal pain where a CT scan revealed a blockage in her right colon. On Thursday July 12th she had surgery to remove the blockage and part of her colon. Lorie has already battled cancer before. Until the doctors get the results back from the mass that they removed, we are unsure whether her lymphoma has returned, a new type of cancer has developed, or if it is something else entirely. Lorie will be in the hospital for atleast a week or more depending on these results. She is unable to work for the foreseeable future and neither of her two jobs offer any paid time off. Lorie is the sole provider for her family and due to this unfortunate medical emergency she is falling behind on her normal bills (mortgage, car note, etc) and will have a number of medical bills once she leaves the hospital.
Lorie is an amazing person with a great heart. She has already been through so much and the road ahead is still unknown. If anybody could contribute   to helping her during this time, it would be greatly appreciated! Anything helps! I’m hoping this will take some of the stress off her shoulders so she can focus on healing! Thank you for your support.
