Help Oliver Walk Again

Hi Everyone,
As you may have heard, my sister(Chelsea) and brother-in-law(Rob)'s dearly loved doxie, Oliver, has suffered spinal cord damage from a herniated disk yesterday, more specifically called IVDD (Intervertebral Disk Disease). The event has left him paralyzed from mid spine down. He immediately underwent an MRI followed by emergency surgery to correct the damage. The surgery went well but the doctor says there is a 50-50 chance whether Oliver will be able to walk or control his bladder functions ever again.
While we remain optimistic for Oliver's recovery, the expenses have added up fast for Chelsea & Rob. Oliver's initial assessment and MRI alone was $2,593.79 and the surgery, $3,605.71. After fully recovering from the surgery, Oliver will have to undergo physical therapy and actupuncture treatments to try and regain feeling in his legs again. Oliver has a long road of recovery ahead of him and I am hoping to ask for your help in helping aliviate the financial burden for Rob & Chelsea. They have been wonderful parents to "little O" and adore him deeply. If you have met Oliver, you know just how much he means to them as well as everyone he comes in contact with.
All donations will go directly to Oliver's medical & recovery bills. If we exceed our goal, the remaining funds will be donated to Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center & the CT Dachshund Rescue Society.
