Hi Cookie Cousins and Peers,
As we all know, the COVID-19 has reaped havoc on our academic, personal, and professional lives. In times such as this it is empathy and compassion which strengthens our sense of community and well-being.
After three internship cancellations, a terminated study abroad, and other challenges (just as we have all had) a little good news pulled through!
I was accepted to The Fund for American Studies International Affairs track to pursue my very FIRST internship in the field of government, foreign policy and translation.
This internship is particularly important, as I have not had a mentor in the professional field of my choice before.
While I am connected to an external scholarship program, we are having some trouble getting approval for the cost of the program.
I simply cannot afford the tuition bill, and I would really be heartbroken to loose another opportunity because I don't have the money to pay for it. I am unemployed.
Anything helps! Even a kind thought and a share!
The total cost of the summer course and internship program with the George Mason University and The Fund for American Studies is 4,750.00
A 4,000$ scholarship has been applied.
I am roughly 750.00 short.
Please help! Anything counts.
