Dry January
Sooo this year I wanted to set myself a challenge and seeing as we can’t do anything else right now with corona thought I’d start the year off with dry January! Anyone who knows me knows this is a challenge as but it also gives me a chance to raise money for my grandad!
On the 7th of January 2017 my grandad lost his long battle with Vascular dementia. Vascular dementia is caused by problems in the supply of blood to the brain, typically a series of minor strokes, leading to worsening cognitive decline that occurs step by step. The Stroke Association helped him so much so I want to give a little bit back to them.
More information about The Stroke Association: When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt.
