Teyas kidney transplant

Hi my name is shaunteya I go by teya, I'm starting a fundraiser for my chronic medical issue. When I was five I had a malformed kidney that had to be removed or I was facing death. When I was sixteen I found out that I had chronic kidney disease and had it since they removed my kidney at five. They said this illness would eventually take my life but that I could survive with the one kidney for a while. I turned 28 this April and found out my kidney is at the failing point. I was recently hospitalized for kidney failure and was told I had a month or so before I needed to start dialysis, or I would need to have a transplant done. My kidney function is between five and seven percent due to the chronic illness kicking in. I have started dialysis and am waiting to see about a transplant. I recently got a catheter put into my neck and have to keep it for dialysis. I talked to the doctors and did research on how much it would cost for a transplant with insurance and the cost is over thirty thousand dollars. I am just going to try to reach twenty thousand and hopefully the rest will work out. I truly appreciate all the help and support I have been receiving.
