Textbooks for Vineyard School of Ministry Africa

Donation protected
I am running a 146 km endurance run-cycle-kayak race in Ireland on August 31 to raise funds for desperately-needed theology textbooks for pastoral students in East Africa, and I need your help!

We've lived in Kijabe, Kenya as humanitarian volunteers for eight years now, and I am the Academic Dean of the Vineyard School of Ministry Africa, the Bible College and ordination source for the Vineyard Churches in East Africa. We at VSMA have little books and textbooks that our students can use for classes, and this lack of solid theological education materials is a significant drawback.

I have decided (perhaps foolishly!) to run this race to raise funds for new books for VSMA...will you join me in providing textbooks for our students?  100% of the funds raised will go directly to buying textbooks for our library and students.

The race is the Quest 12 endurance run-cycle-kayak, 146 km and 2995 metres of climbing and pure pain in a beautiful part of the world. It will be worth it, if you can join me through sponsorship. Perhaps you could make a one-time donation, or sponsor some or all of the kilometres. I will be posting on Facebook during the event; all twelve hours or more of it! You can watch an inspiring video of the race below.

The race is in six stages over 12 consecutive hours: there are no 'teams', I will be running the entire race :) Here are the stages, which start at 0600 on 31 August:  1) 48 km cycle, 2) 13 km mountain run, 3) 49 km cycle, 4) 5 km ocean kayak, 5) 14 km cycle, 6) 18 km trail run.
