Texhoma Family,
We just learned that one of our contractors just received some devastating news yesterday. He was injured by shots fired in Kuwait (during Desert Storm) when he was serving our country in the Marine Corps. He was shot in the knee, had a knee replacement and much hardware surgically placed to hold his lower leg bone together. Unfortunately, this was not a lifelong fix. He has no feeling left in the lower leg and the crack is getting worse with each passing day, making it very difficult to walk with stability.
He has been informed, by the VA, that they are going to amputate his leg on September 24th 2018. I can only imagine how frightening and disappointing this must be for him.
Texhoma would like to help him seek out a second opinion and give him some financial help during this difficult time for him and his family.
We’re asking for donations of any amount in the following days. Texhoma will match the total amount. Due to the surgery coming up in less than 2 weeks, we are asking for you to give whatever you can, as soon as you can.
