Hello sisters, parents, and friends!
Delta chapter's historic home is in need of some critical renovations. Already this Summer 2014 we have reinforced the foundations of historic Baker House, a project that alone cost $90,000.
Now we need to install a fire sprinkler system in our ceilings and rewire the house's WiFi. The Austin fire marshall is cracking down on the five University of Texas sorority houses without sprinkler systems, requiring each of us to pay over $2200 to have fire marshalls on patrol during recruitment week. Also, the retrofitted WiFi in our house is inadequate for today's college student. It seems like nearly every day there's a new problem with the WiFi for the 52 women who live in the house and over 250 members who come to the house to study.
The Building Corporation of Delta chapter plans to have a sprinkler system installed during Summer 2015. While the ceilings are open for sprinkler installation, we can also run new wiring through the ceilings for WiFi. These two renovations--sprinklers and WiFi--will simultaneously improve the safety and quality of life for the women of Delta chapter.
Our goal is to raise $300,000 for this important project! We would love your help in reaching our goal and helping us significantly improve the collegiate member experience for these outstanding ADPi women.
