Texas SAE Hurricane Harvey Fund
South Texas received over 40 inches of rain during Hurricane Harvey. The citizens that were affected by this disaster have lost their homes and many of their possessions. The flooding was so bad that many of the houses are still under water. The University of Texas at Austin SAE Fraternity of 2017 would like to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey by raising $40,000 by September 15, 2017. Harvey has had a devastating impact not only to many of the South Texas Communities, but also to our families and friends who have experienced significant damage to their homes. USA Today reported that Hurricane Harvey will prove to be the costliest natural disaster in U.S. history with an estimated cost of $190 billion according to private weather from AccuWeather’s latest estimate. We want to do our part by supporting the relief effort. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross
