Texas Jack's Barbecue, the service industry as a whole, and small businesses across the world are currently facing daunting times with the current pandemic. We greatly appreciate the support we have already received from takeout orders, tags on social media, and simple words of encouragement - every bit helps! Each day we see more cooperation taking place and more resiliency being built thanks to your support and the dedication of first responders, healthcare workers, public servants, and more - THANK YOU!
In addition to posing direct health challenges to the general public, the outbreak has prompted mass closures of schools, businesses, and even other unprecedented measures. The demand for social distancing will help flatten the curve but has put a constraint on resources for everyone. The Texas Jack's family has been together since 2015, and, unfortunately, with the current demands we have been forced to let go of 65 of these hard-working family members.
Our hearts are heavy but we are determined to keep our family and the local community supported as we continue to look for more solutions. In order to best help our directly affected family, we have set up the Texas Jack's Employee Relief Fund. As we don’t know how long or how bad the closures will be, ownership is willing to match dollar for dollar. Please show your support as we march forward!
