Why? Tessa was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) on her front right leg, just below the wrist. We have already been to an oncologist and had CT scans performed, and found that the cancer has not metastasized yet, and thus makes Tessa a good candidate for radiation and treatment therapy. We are cautiously optimistic that this course of action will be successful. She is scheduled to begin treatment next week at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine.
Unfortunately, the vet bills and costs for treatment are starting to mount up, and are expected to be staggering when all is said and done. As a current graduate student my resources are extremely limited. I am working hard to do everything I can to help Tessa fight this disease, and would appreciate any help that you can contribute to Tessa’s fight. Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.
