Tessa’s Insulin Pump

Our sweet baby Tessa was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last July, she was 9 months old. It was so frightening and definitely a shock. She is now almost 16 months old and she is happy, healthy and very busy, but controlling her diabetes is a daily struggle.  We are now trying to get her an insulin pump which we hope will help keep her blood sugar in a better range. The process is more involved and more expensive than we realized. I am hoping we’ll be able to raise money to help with a little bit of the cost so we can get this for her sooner rather than later.  She gets 4-6 shots a day right now and a pump would lessen that drastically. For her poor arms and legs sake I hope we’ll be able to get this for her!
