Tess & Maddie Medical Mission Trip

Hi everyone!
Our names are Maddie Brune and Tess Daniel, and we are so excited to share a little bit of our story with you all. We are pre-med and nursing students at our universities, and we’ve both been given the opportunity to do something we’ve wanted to do for a very long time now. For as long as we can remember, we have dreamed and prayed about going on a Mission trip. It has constantly been a desire in our hearts, and we have had to really put our trust in the Lord's timing. After a year or two of waiting, this summer we are more than excited to announce that in May of 2018 we will be packing up our bags and headed to Tanzania for 2 weeks. This trip is especially exciting because this trip not only is an opportunity to minister to the people of Tanzania, but we will also have the opportunity to work in a clinic and provide health care for those in Tanzania. During primary care clinics, we will work with our team to offer high-quality health care to some of the world’s most vulnerable people suffering with HIV or AIDS, malnutrition, parasites, dysentery, serious wounds, infections, malaria and other tropical diseases, and illnesses associated with unhealthy drinking water and sanitation. We will have the opportunity to help others heal spiritually and physically, and grow relationships that we never thought were possible. In addition, we are looking forward to see how the people of Tanzania change our lives as we are hoping to change theirs.
We are so incredibly excited for this opportunity, but we just need a little help to get there. We are fundraising to cover our airfare and some other expenses in order to go serve in Tanzania, such as supplies and housing. Just know that your donation is going to help us serve and impact the people of Tanzania. Every dollar past our expenses will be given to the LCMS Mercy Medical Team organization, which may be used for supplies and medications on our trip or future ones.
