Terry Thompson (Dear Friend Amazing Person)

Terry has been a dear friend of mine for over 25 years and has recently and unexpectedly faced some very serious medical problems. He is currently in a Lakeland hospital facing issues that I dont feel comfortable publicly sharing as I would not want to violate the families privacy.
Let’s start from the beginning and what is known to most people that know Terry and his family. Approximately 20 years ago he faced a stage 4 cancer diagnosis which he and his family fought diligently by having to move to Seattle to get the appropriate treatment. While fighting that in Seattle their home got a roof leak and mold encompassed the entire house and his vehicle was stolen - this would break most people but the Thompson family take adversity in stride and always remain positive.
Terry and I started working together as sales people for the national investigative company we worked for and once I decided to open my own company it was a no brainer to bring Terry on board. He has been a sounding board for me for over 20 years in business and is well respected in our industry.
Terry and his wonderful wife Cindy and their children are not ones to take things from others rather would offer their home to others when needed, so it is not the family asking for this. I know Terry and his family have always done the best with what they had and Terry is the main bread winner and based on my conversations with Cindy the recovery time will be a long one. I have not had to experience this kind of adversity and I am sure that last thing they are thinking about is finances but I would like to help them in whatever way WE as a community can.
We as a company have provided the ability for the family to order dinners / food while they can split time between the hospital and home. As I have not told the family about this fundraiser I have not been given any specific needs however I assume as Terry is the breadwinner the funds will be used for bills, food, insurance and medical.
For those of you who are local I am sure the family can use meals or groceries to minimize what Cindy has to deal with so she can focus on Terry and visiting him.
The financial assistance is needed immediately.
