Terry Pittenger Medical Fund

Terry is a hard-working family man that drives a truck for a living.  Like all truckers, they sacrifice time with their families and friends to supply our nation with all of the resources we use on a daily basis.  Terry was recently diagnosed with cancer.  The doctors removed the cancer but it had already spread to some of his lymph nodes.  He is currently scheduling scans, tests, and more surgery while still working to support his family on the road.  The past three years were not easy ones for our truckers.  High fuel prices, non-stop government regulation and low wages have taken their toll on truck drivers and Terry in particular.  Just prior to discovering his cancer, he had taken off to assist his parents and be with his father while he was dying.  Right after Terry lost his father, this new problem came up.  Terry has to schedule work around the many doctor's appointments and tests.  When you are an owner-operator, you don't make any money when you don't work.  Terry didn't ask anyone for help but he is my friend and my co-worker.  A few of us started this to help him and his family out during this difficult time.  Most of us can go to a dinner and drinks and spend $50 without batting an eye.  Please consider pitching in to help a good man overcome a bad disease.  Any contribution will be appreciated.  His bills are going on to credit cards to keep current and that will be hard to recover from.  Please look into your heart and see if you can help him and his family.
