Terrence's Fashunable Top Surgery Recovery

Donation protected

Hi

On June 7th, I will be getting Top Surgery. **places hand over heart** It’s surreal that it is happening and how wonderful I feel at the same time. Getting top surgery is about having less gender dysphoria in my body. I don’t hate my body as is. Contrary, plus you already know me, I love myself. I find myself sexy and dork all at once. Getting top surgery is about making my body match what I see. This is honestly a dream come true ANNNND I’m not gonna hold you, it’s also a lot of work and patience.

I’ve been transgender, a transguy more specifically since I was 8 years old. I remember watching my dad give my brothers a haircut downstairs. I wanted one soooo bad yo. When my dad had finished my brothers hair I took his razor. I remember leaning into the cool buzzing sound the clippers made as it meet my hair on my right temple. I remember not even five seconds in, my Haitian immigrant parents, high-key shook yelled, “What are you doing?!?!?!” **deep laugh, I almost got beat y’all. I didn’t though. woosh **

What I was doing then is similar to what I am doing now. I am transforming. I just didn’t have the language for it back then. It was the 90’s  and there weren’t Caribbean, Black, transgender, LGBTQIA or masculine of center women characters on TV or movies I could look to for example. I'm glad there's more representation then before.  STILL TO HAVE MADE IT TO THIS POINT I had to learn to love my breasts unconditionally before I was ready to accept and pursue top surgery. And now I’m ready.  I get to live more like who I already knew I was and who I am.

Me being Me (:

That is what brings you and I here. I am raising $2,500 to cover my living expenses for a month and a half, ideally after my surgery.  So from June though part of July.

I will not be able to work those months, nor really move my arms very much. Recovery takes a while because of the extensive healing my body needs to do. Since I won’t be working, I’ll have no income. I’ll be using my savings to cover what I can but I NEED YOUR HELP. I’d sincerely appreciate any and every amount you can donate.

Other Ways You Can Help…  Asides from donations there are practical things I’ll need too.

For my body pain and inflammatory reduction... the links  are just to ones I know about that's good. I'm open to others forsurr!
One CBD gummies
One CBD cream

As well ......new shirts.  Hahaa I know. So honestly, raising my arms above my head will be a no-go for a while post my surgery.  So NO t-shirts, YES Zippers, Button ups and Overalls!!   Please consider helping me out with a
ASOS  / Wild Fang    / Stuzo     gift card
$CashApp or Venmo (my celly number) so I can go thrift shopping.

And lastly YOUR POSITIVE vibes, prayers, Marco-Polo's (that's a video app, get it!) mediations and well wishes. Thanks for reading my story, sharing my GoFundMe and being part of my life and journey.

I’ll keep you posted with updates leading to and post my surgery. You can also get my real time  reactions and inklings by following my #TittyTedTalk on Instagram  .
