The Kaiser Family enjoyed their retirement home for about a month . San Antonio's wicked thunderstorms came through our neighborhood and their home was stricken by fierce lightning on Monday, August 7, 2017 . Their home was totally lost and the rain continued the next day which further prohibited their trying to gather and save items.
An involved neighbor suggested using gofundme as an immediate and practical solution to collect donations. It also allows the Kaiser family to get their funds directly.
Subsequently, their Alamo Ranch Community set up this fund for the express purpose of getting funds to them quickly and securely. As you know eating out replacing medication is quite expensive. So is replacing other items.
Another Alamo Ranch organization is reaching out to them to provide complimentary hotel accommodations until they can figure things out; get some rest and gain further insight on how best to move forward. They received great news from their insurance company that 100% rebuild funds are available.
