TERMINAL CANCERPATIENT-PLS HELP SAV ONLY COMPANION

Hi my names Anna, I have been battling terminal brain cancer for 12 years and I’m currently having chemo as we speak after major brain surgery last year… My 4th brain surgery… my physical mobility is declining…

I’m currently struggling on chemo as we speak and I’m absolutely distraught, distressed and not coping. As im so unwell and the only companion I have in this world has been in critical condition. My kindred spirit..

Sadly because of my cancer I cannot have children, I have no partner & I’ve been unable to work for over a year & a half. Supporting myself post brain surgery last year whilst recovering & with all the medical bills… further in debt. Just to see my cancer psychiatrist is $510 & I get $130 back, so I’ve had to cut back appts.

she gives me a reason to live and fight for my life..

having been by my side through everything we have the most special bond it’s undeniable….

In the past 2 days she has deteriorated very quickly, she is all I have… has been my constant companion on some of the hardest days of my life and is currently fighting for her life in the emergency veterinary hospital it is $20k to try and save her, money I simply don’t have. Then initial checkups over $1500 for 2 and then every month for 6-8 months $500 a visit. Shes going to need at least $6,000 in consults monthly over this first year and that’s if there’s no complications, if so it will increase… I’m in the middle of treatment atm and this is beyond stressful & heartbreaking.

She is suffering severe renal failure, one of her kidneys has doubled in size from a serious blockage the other shrunk, riddled with kidney stones. She almost passed away yesterday because her toxicity levels were too high as she hadn’t urinated in 3 days. I was told to come in and say goodbye the day after her first night at the vet hospital, and they would observe her overnight she’s made it through the night and now needs major surgery to clear blockages, place an implant inside her to bypass the blockage. And then we pray it all works. She’s definitely not in a good way. My heart is breaking…

Im asking anyone who can donate even a dollar to try and save the only thing in my life that has been a constant whilst battling this terminal illness I will be forever grateful… she gives me a reason to live… comforts me through the pain and makes me feel less alone in this world I’m living in very alone.

Literally every single dollar counts

I was planning an overseas europe bucket list trip this year as due to my condition post surgery now when l am fatigued my left leg has begun to drag, it’s lost strength & my neuro pathways damaged as surgery was for the tumour on my motor strip. So the best mobility I’m going to have is now as it will decline over time, so it has to be 2023 to go overseas, as overtime it’s going to diminish… I’m desperately trying to get refunds but as I was so certain I was going a almost all of my accom is non-refundable as I was certain I was going and it was cheaper than flexi.

Ive also been developing an app and website for cancer patients where they can connect with others in a similar position. I just want to help as many patients as I can because having cancer can be the most isolating experience & I think having had cancer 4 times if anyone should have a decent idea about what patients experience I’d hope it’s me. This will be completely free to the public and is a huge passion project of mine…
