It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Teri Sears and Darrell Tilson. They were a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed. They touched the lives of so many. Teri and Darrell were wonderful parents, grandparents, and friends.
We are raising money to cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services as this passing was completely unexpected. We want to give Teri and Darrell the memorial they deserve, to honor their memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Teri and Darrell's funeral and any legal fees and final expenses we may incur. We need to raise $15,000 by January 17, 2021.
The beneficiary of the funds will be my husband Edward Fitzhugh who will delegate the funds as appropriate. The funds will be spent on cremation, a funeral service, and legal fees needed to close all accounts and estate fees for my mother as well as closing my grandfather’s accounts as he passed on December 12, 2020 and my mother Teri Sears wasn’t able to finalize any of his accounts or estates before her passing. The intended recipients of the fundraiser will be Michelle Fitzhugh and Michael Burd, the children of Teri Sears and Darrell Tilson. Edward Fitzhugh is the authorized person to withdrawal funds and deliver the money to Michelle Fitzhugh outside of GoFundMe because my bank account is still under my maiden name Michelle Tilson and my legally changed name on my ID is Michelle Fitzhugh and is causing trouble with setting up the withdrawal directly to Michelle Fitzhugh.
