Christmas Eve Emergency

Teresa helps almost everyone she meets. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, she helps those who have had major surgeries, strokes, dementia and many other issues, get back to a normal life. Now, after 22 years of helping others, she needs help!
On Dec 19 she had her right knee replaced. Even though Teresa is the sole income earner in our home, we were prepared for this event. We WERE NOT prepared to have to rush her to the ER on Christmas Eve for emergency surgery to repair a hole in her intestine. The Dr had to make a 6-8 inch incision to find the leak, repair it and save her life. she is still in ICU 3 days later. We aren't the type of people that depend on others so it's difficult to ask for help. However, we just don't know how we will survive month to month with her out of work. We don't know how we are going to pay for all of this with her out of work. This is the worst time of the year to ask for donations because of Christmas, but if you can find a few dollars you can part with, I promise it will bless many, not just us. Thank you!!
