Teresa's Guardian Angels

On August 8th, 2018, Teresa O'Driscoll and one of her six children, Meghan (Her youngest daughter, a high-school senior), were in a tragic auto-accident on the way to the food bank of rural Lincoln County, Missouri.. Their car was T-boned by a pickup truck,  hurling Teresa from the window of the car and resulting in cracked vertebrae and a fractured Orbital as well as a number of deep lacerations which left her bleeding heavily.  With Meghan miraculously only suffering minor physical injuries. 

Thankfully, an off-duty paramedic was able to keep Teresa stable until she was airlifted to the Mercy hospital where she underwent 24 hours in and out of surgery stabilizing her spine and reconstructing her face.  Unfortunately, the trauma center was off-network for her woefully limited and rudimentary insurance plan, saddling her family with the lion's share of medical costs for the surgery and future treatments. 

Teresa will require at least a year of physical therapy before being able to walk, and  we need your help pay for things like a ramp for her wheelchair to the porch, a a shower for the first floor bathroom equipped with handicap accessibility,  as well as cover future fees for physical therapy.

Teresa O'Driscoll is a mother of 6 children, four of whom are in college, in the small town of Elsberry, MO.  She lives with her husband of 29 years (And counting!) who works as an Engineering sales consultant fora small firm that offers no medical insurance benefits .
Teresa is active in the Elsberry community, raising, selling and showing Guinea Pigs as a member of the ACBA and crafting hand-painted dolls.
