Family, friends and anyone else who Teresa has touched in her life:
Recently our sister, friend and colleague was in a terrible car accident. She is currently in a coma with major head trauma and is being treated in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Cedar Sinai Hospital.
It is too early for a complete prognosis, however, Teresa is suffering from at least a fractured skull, multiple brain hemorrhages, severe lacerations and two broken hips. She is in very critical condition and her recovery is expected to be both lengthy in duration and extremely cost-intensive.
Teresa's immediate treatments are being covered by insurance, and lodging and other incidentals are being covered by Ernst & Young. However, the costs of recovery and rehabilitation are expected to accumulate to a much larger amount than her family will be able to afford. If you are able to contribute absolutely anything, whether it be words of encouragement, professional guidance or monetary contribution, it would be an enormous help towards Teresa's long and arduous recovery.
100% of the donations received will go directly to Teresa's parents to help pay for the costs of rehabilitation and ongoing care.
