TENGO CANCER DE MAMA... AYUDAME

Hola mi nombre es Jaimie Rojas, quiero compartir contigo esta SITUACION DE EMERGENCIA que tengo con mi madre, siempre he creído en el trabajo duro y el respeto por las pertenencias materiales de los demás y hoy sin haberlo planificado me veo luchando en contra de mis principios por la necesidad de sobrevivir como familia.

Sé que el planeta está de cabeza, pero te escribo porque NOS URGE LA AYUDA para poder salvar a mi mama (de 69 años) de una enfermedad que no ve pandemia, ni ve edad… solo aparece… y es muy difícil de predecir.

En enero de este año 2020, recibimos la terrible noticia de que mi madre tiene CÁNCER DE MAMA en el seno derecho, gracias a colaboraciones y a mis pocos ahorros logramos operar el 11 de febrero del 2020, para quitar completamente el seno y luego realizar las 8 sesiones de quimioterapia en un país donde las medicinas no se consiguen y donde hay que sustituir medicamentos para lograr combatir esta enfermedad invasiva. Ahora en este mes de Julio terminó su ultima Sesión de Quimioterapia.

Ahora después de pasar la operación, y la quimioterapia con todos sus efectos secundarios, nos toca comenzar con la Radioterapia. Para lograr este último paso es necesario trasladarse y moverse fuera de la isla. Nosotras vivimos en la isla de Margarita, Venezuela, donde yo trabajaba como oceanógrafo en un gran proyecto y me permitía vivir más tranquila que en la ciudad. Lo cierto es que aquí en esta maravillosa isla no tenemos Radioterapia o para ser más específico si tenemos un centro de Radioterapia solo que no está funcionando desde hace ya más de 10 años.

Salir de la Isla de Margarita y trasladarse a la Capital de Venezuela, Caracas y estar un mes y medio recibiendo Radioterapia que es completamente paga, estamos necesitando $3.000

Hemos estados buscando alternativas económicas e inclusive gratis, pero o nos agarra el COVID 19 o nos agarra la falta de dinero para comer y sobrevivir en el día a día.

Recurro a ustedes para poder solventar un asunto de vida para mi madre, quien necesita este tratamiento con EXTREMA URGENCIA, de hecho debe comenzarlo para el día 10 de Agosto, contamos contigo y con tu solidaridad, es una situación extrema, que no te puedes imaginar lo que significa atravesar por esta enfermedad y que además de lo emocional y lo físico, tener que preocuparse por las cuentas y los costos, porque nada es gratis, todos los tratamientos son pagos… todo lo que puedan ayudar será de gran bendición para nosotras y yo eternamente agradecida, porque mi madre siempre ha estado a mi lado, y ha sido una persona activa, independiente, y fanática de los dulces y la cocina, verla atravesar por toda esta situación no ha sido nada fácil. Mi madre es todo para mí y para mi hija (su única nieta).

El dinero recaudado se usará para pasajes de traslado, pago de un lugar para vivir en Caracas por mes y medio ya que debe estar solo conmigo, a causa de la situación con el Covid-19, comida y traslados en la ciudad, y por supuesto lo mas costoso: el tratamiento de Radioterapia.

ESTA ENFERMEDAD NO PUEDE ESPERAR, ESTA EN RIEZGO SU VIDA

Espero que nos puedan ayudar cualquier cosa que puedan será bien recibida y me ayudara en este último paso, en que mi mama por fin termine los tratamientos y el medico nos pueda decir en unos meses: SUPERADO.

Hello, my name is Jaimie Rojas. I want to share with you this EMERGENCY SITUATION that I have with my mother. I have always believed in hard work and respect for the material belongings of others. And today, without having planned it, I see myself fighting against my principles because of the need to survive as a family.

I know the planet is upside down, but I am writing to you because WE ARE URGED of HELP in order to save my mother (69 years old) from a disease that does not see a pandemic, nor does she see age ... it only appears ... and it is very difficult to predict.

In January of this year 2020, we received the terrible news that my mother has BREAST CANCER in the right breast. Thanks to collaborations and my few savings, we managed to operate on February 11, 2020, to completely remove the breast, and then perform 8 chemotherapy sessions… in a country where medicines are not available and where you have to substitute medicines to fight this invasive disease. Now in this month of July she finished her last Chemotherapy Session.

Now after passing the operation, and chemotherapy with all its side effects, we have to start with Radiotherapy. To achieve this last step, it is necessary to move for few months to Caracas. We live on the island of Margarita, Venezuela, where I worked as an oceanographer on a large project, and allowed me to live more calmly than in the capital. The truth is that here on this wonderful island we do not have Radiotherapy, or to be more specific, we have a Radiotherapy center, but it has not been working for more than 10 years.
 
To leave the Isla de Margarita and move to the Capital of Venezuela, Caracas and spend a month and a half receiving Radiotherapy that we need to pay for, we need $3,000.
 
We have been looking for cheaper alternatives, but either COVID 19 grabs us or we lack the money to eat and survive the day by day.
I turn to you to be able to solve a life issue for my mother, who needs this treatment with EXTREME URGENCY, in fact it must start on August 10. We are counting on you and your solidarity. It is an extreme situation! You cannot imagine what it means to go through this disease and that, in addition to the emotional and physical pain and issues, you have to worry about the bills and the costs, because nothing is free, all the treatments are paid ...

My mother has always been by my side, and has been an active, independent person, and a fan of sweets and cooking. To see her go through all this situation has not been easy. My mother is everything to me and to my daughter (her only granddaughter).
 
The money raised will be used for tickets, rent of a place for my mum and I to live in Caracas for a month and a half, since she must be alone with me because of the situation with the Covid-19. Food and transfers in the city. And, of course the most expensive item, the Radiotherapy treatment.
