Jean Tendongho's funeral

A brother, father, and friend you were to us all. We can not believe that you have left us. You lived a life of sacrifice for those around you. Growing up we knew that we had two fathers and we will always remember how much you cared for us. Even after Papa died, you continued your job as a great father. Things were hard for you at that time, but you were ready to sacrifice all to see us become successful in life.

You didn't only ensure our secular lives; you planted in us the undiluted word of God that has kept us going even in the storms. You were the first in a family of 18, and you truly earned your title as “the first” of the family. You never discriminated when it came to taking care of your siblings, and each one of us has exceptional memories of you. Our tears keep flowing because no one will be able to fill the vacuum your departure has created in the family and us individually.

When we learned of your hospitalization, we fasted and prayed, but God decided to have His way. Your love for us and your passion for souls was so intense that you couldn't miss any opportunity to share God's love and lead sinners to Christ. You continually prayed for the salvation of your people, and the people of M'mouck. It was always a celebration to you each time you learned of a new convert in M'mouck land. We promise that by God’s grace, the seed you planted in us and M'mouck land will continue to bear even more fruits.

BRO, as we always called you! You were a real general of God. You fought a good fight, and we are proud to receive the baton that you have passed on to us. We love you and will keep the flames burning so that we can meet you on the last day, where we will gather to part no more.

Adieu Bro!
Adieu M’mouck general!
The M’mouck believers and your spiritual children will truly miss you.
Help spread the word!
