Help Me Bring My Work to the Venice Architecture Biennale
Hi! I'm María José Vasconcelos, a Mexican-Spanish architect and artist living and working in Paris.
This year, I've been invited to exhibit at the Biennale di Architettura di Venezia 2025, as part of Time Space Existence — one of the world’s most important platforms for architecture and spatial art.
✨ It’s a dream come true — and I need your help to make it happen.
Why I’m Asking for Your Help
While the Biennale offers a global platform for artists and architects, participants are responsible for covering all production, shipping, and travel costs. These include:
Materials and fabrication of the installation
Shipping and handling, travel and accommodation, printing and documentation, exhibition fees.
I am currently raising money to cover these expenses and make this project a reality.
About the Project
My installation, part of the series "Réverberations Temporelles", is a spatial and visual exploration of how memory reverberates through architectural form. Using photographic collage, texture, and site-specific elements, the piece reflects on the tension between permanence and impermanence — between what we build and what we remember.
Exhibiting this work in Venice means amplifying these reflections on architecture, memory, and identity within a broader global dialogue about the future of space and society.

Why It Matters
Representation matters. As a Mexican emergent artist, bringing this voice to Venice is an opportunity to challenge dominant narratives and expand perspectives on what architecture can be — poetic, political, personal.
Your support, no matter the amount, is not just helping me — it’s helping open up space for new ideas and new voices.
Every donation helps.

Thank you from the heart,
