Templeton Robotics 2020 season

Templeton Secondary School created a robotics club to participate in FIRST Robotics Competitions (FRC #7190), in 2017.  FRC serves as an outlet for students to develop their critical thinking, engineering, coding and creative skills beyond the borders of the classroom.   We are an Eastside school with a focus on maximizing participation. To limit any financial hurdles for our team members, we rely on the generosity of our sponsors to help offset any direct costs to students and their families. Our team has grown to 45 students ranging from grades 8 to 12. This year our goal is to raise $5,000 to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate at the Regional FRC event in Victoria, BC. March 4 – 7, 2020.  The funds will also assist in obtaining accommodations, transportation, key tools, uniforms, and robotic parts.  If we reach our goal, we would like to replace our laptop! Our IBM ThinkPad, it is old and slow and is holding us back.
