Temeisha's Kidney Transpant

Hi All,

Thank you for reading this. My friend and coworker Temeisha Cordwell has been suffering from chronic kidney disease for over four years and has been on dialysis for the last year, but she still has continued to work with a smile. Temeisha was born with this health problem but only found out a few years ago when the symptoms worsened. Unfortunately, she is a rare blood type, so it has been difficult for her to find a donor. Finally, Temeisha has found a LIVE donor for a transplant (who would like to remain anonymous); what a gift, we are all thrilled! She will now have her surgery on June 2nd.

 

Our goal with this campaign is to raise funds to relieve some financial burden on Temeisha and her family in the weeks and months to come. But, unfortunately, there still will be many costs incurred that are not covered by insurance for her and her doner.

 

Your donation will help offset the costs for Temeisha, her family, and her donor due to medical expenses, food, rent, and loss of work for both Temeisha and her donor while they recover.

We will be holding a benefit for her on May 14th inside the Vineyard Square Hotel from 5:30-10 pm with food, drinks, music, dancing and a silent auction.
