Telling Haiti's Story

We are a group of passionate students from Space of Mind who had a life-changing experience at the Be Like Brit orphanage in Grand Goave, Haiti last April. In contrast to popular opinion in America, we were astounded by the spirit of Haiti.  We are now on a mission to return to Haiti to create a documentary that fights negative stereotyping and explores what Americans can learn from the people of Haiti.

In addition to documenting our journey, we are creating a Digital Storytelling curriculum and for Be Like Brit. Your donations will go towards providing Digital Storytelling Kits which include an iPad, tripod, microphone, and a portable case. These kits will enable the children at Be Like Brit to share their own stories.
